People impacted by tornadoes last month in Cherokee County may be able to get federal financial help.
The Small Business Administration will be at the Cookson Volunteer Fire Station starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday to help. The station is located at 21642 West Cookson Bend Road.
Several homes and businesses were destroyed or heavily damaged. SBA officials say those businesses and individuals impacted by the tornado could qualify for low-interest loans to help them get back on their feet.
