HASKELL COUNTY, Oklahoma - A total of 8 people are in jail Sunday morning accused separately of having stolen property or drugs.

Haskell County deputies say a special operation helped them make those arrests in just 3 days. Some of the stolen property was found during traffic stops near state highway 9 and 71.

There were several traffic stops made, where drugs were seized and citations were issued. During one traffic stop, deputies learned that the vehicle was stolen and that the driver was in possession of Methamphetamine and marijuana. Both the driver and passenger were arrested.

Deputies say the operation has led to multiple thefts being solved.
