Tulsa Man In Custody After Leading Trooper On Chase

A man is behind bars after leading Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on a chase through Tulsa.

Troopers say they spotted David Bayless Driving recklessly near 91st and memorial around 1 a.m.

A trooper tried to pull him over, but they say he sped off. The chase reached speeds over 80 mph and eventually led to an apartment complex garage. There, Troopers say Bayless fought with the arresting officer and was injured while resisting arrest.

Bayless is facing several charges including DUI, Resisting Arrest, and Eluding.
