Federal workers at two Oklahoma parks are furloughed because of the government shutdown. Visitor centers are also closed at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge near Lawton and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur.
The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum is still open because it's privately owned and operated, but there is no National Park Service ranger on duty.
