WAGONER COUNTY, Oklahoma - Friday morning, Wagoner County deputies along with Broken Arrow firefighters performed a water rescue east of Broken Arrow.

In a post on the sheriff's office's Facebook page, they said deputies and firefighters were called about a stranded driver located near the intersection of East 51st Street South and South 305th East Avenue. That is about 5 miles east of the Creek Turnpike.

No further details were released.

The sheriff's office reminds drivers to not go around high water barricades.
