ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma - Police believe drugs led to a convicted felon crashing a mini van into a barbed wire fence early Monday. The suspect has been identified as Andrew Sargent.

Officers say the crash happened on Lynn Lane, just south of Pine a little after midnight.

Police say they found a handgun on the ground outside the mini van.  It appears the man had ingested meth prior to the crash, according to police.

A witness told police they saw the man outside of the mini van after the crash, and there wasn't much damage to the vehicle.

Officers say when they arrived, the driver appeared to be intoxicated.

Police say Sargent told officers he had just left the Hard Rock Casino where someone gave him something.

He is being held in the Rogers County Jail on suspicion of DUI, possession of a gun and several drug-related charges.
