Broken Arrow Police To Give Crime Alerts On Ring 'Neighbors' App

Broken Arrow Police Department said it will partner with the Neighbors app to provide crime and safety alerts to citizens.

They will publish "real-time" information over the free app that is part of the Ring home security system. Using the Neighbors network has helped other departments catch porch pirates and stop burglaries, a news release states.

Broken Arrow Police said they are the first Oklahoma law enforcement agency to partner Neighbors.

“The Broken Arrow Police Department is excited to enter into this partnership with the Neighbors app by Ring. We are certain it will enhance our ability to provide quality service to our citizens," said Captain Patrick DuFriend, BAPD Criminal Investigations Division.
