Thief Takes Just 2 Minutes To Steal TV From Tulsa Pawn Shop
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police are looking for a man who ran off with a 65-inch flat screen TV from a Tulsa pawn shop early Tuesday.
Officers responded to a burglary alarm at the EZ Pawn in the 3700 block of East Admiral Place at 5:20 a.m. They found the front door open and its lock broken.
They said it's clear the thief had a plan of action before he burglarized the business.
The store's surveillance video shows a man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a mask and gloves use some type of tool to enter the store, according to police. Police said he broke the lock, walked inside and grabbed a 65-inch flat screen TV.
He quickly left with the TV, and video shows him walking north through the shopping center's parking lot.
Sergeant Brett Bilyeu says the thief was in the store for less than two minutes, and spent most of his time just trying to get in.
"It took him a little bit to get through the door, but he was determined," said Sergeant Brett Bilyeu, TPD.
"He also needs to understand that we're determined."
