Mayor G.T. Bynum Calls 2018 A Record-Setting Year For Tulsa

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum is calling 2018 a record-setting year for the city.

Bynum says Tulsa outpaced the state and the nation in job growth by welcoming new employers like Amazon. Bynum also points to things like the addition of new police and firefighters as well as programs like Resilient Tulsa Strategy and the New Tulsans Initiative.

Of course, the biggest accomplishment of 2018 for Tulsa was the opening of the Gathering Place park.

"We're excited about what happened in 2018, we're gonna have to double down and work super hard to top it in 2019, but I'm ready and I hope you are too," said Mayor Bynum.
