As the partial government shutdown continues, President Trump is making his case for a wall at the southern border.
In an oval office address to the nation, the president called the situation a crisis. He blamed the partial shutdown on democrat’s unwillingness to fund the wall.
"Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do wealthy politicians build walls fences and gates around their homes? They don't build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because the love the people on the inside," said the President.
The president said he has invited Congressional leaders to the White House tomorrow to work on an end to the shutdown.
