HENRYETTA, Oklahoma - A California man died in a wreck involving two semi trucks on Interstate 40 east of Henyretta Thursday.  

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes between mile markers 243 and 244 near the Okmulgee/McIntosh County line.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said Harpreet Singh, 32, of Fresno, California, was pronounced dead of massive injuries.

Troopers told News On 6 Singh was killed when he got out of one of the trucks and was struck by another semi. The second truck then collided with the parked vehicle.

Juan T. Posadas, 56, of Mayflower, Arkansas, was driving the second truck. He refused treatment at the scene for minor injuries, a collision report states.

A passenger in Singh's truck wasn't hurt.

Troopers said the condition of the drivers at the time of the wreck and the cause of the collision are under investigation.
