Broken Arrow Student Pulls Out Pellet Gun During Argument At School

A student at Centennial Middle School in Broken Arrow was suspended Friday after a pellet gun was found in his backpack at school.

Broken Arrow police say during an argument, the boy showed the gun to another student at Centennial Middle School.

“The firearm that was located was later determined to be a pellet gun but it was a very real looking and feeling pellet gun, semi-automatic style weapon,” said Broken Arrow Police Officer James Koch.

The student was arrested. The school district says because the gun was reported and found quickly, they were able to continue classes without interruption.
