Slick Roads Resulting In Multiple Crashes Across Tulsa Metro
TULSA, Oklahoma - Slick streets and bridges kept Tulsa Police and the firefighters busy early Tuesday.
Just after 6 a.m. police reported at least three crashes on area highways. One was on southbound Highway 75 at 17th Street South. A second crash was on eastbound I-44 near Harvard and a third crash was in the southbound lanes of the Tisdale Parkway south of the Gilcrease Expressway.
Since then, multiple crashes have been reported all across Tulsa including some on city streets and other major highways in the Tulsa metro.
In addition, Tulsa Police say they are on Operation Slick Streets.
City of Tulsa street crews have been seen spreading salt on several of the problem areas across Tulsa.
