Oklahoma Pharmacy Helps Out Federal Employees Affected By Shutdown
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Green Country pharmacy is stepping up to help federal employees whose paychecks have stopped because of the shutdown.
Rowland Pharmacy is deferring payments for those federal workers. Owner Lindy Rowland says it's the right thing to do.
"I think we've all been there. There have been times where things got a little tight. Nothing to be ashamed of," said Rowland.
He said once the paychecks start coming in, he'll work with those federal workers on paying off their bills.
