Indianola Schools said they will be closed Friday because about 20 percent of their students are out with the flu.

The district said support staff will be on campus Friday sanitizing the cafeteria, classrooms, door knobs, and water fountains.

Indianola said Saturday's Spaghetti dinner and wrestling will go on as scheduled.
