Metallica Concert Breaks BOK Center Record
TULSA, Oklahoma - The BOK Center says the Metallica concert held on Friday night was a record-breaker.
BOK officials say fans of the metal band set a new attendance record for a single concert with 19,228 people.
This is part of the BOK's ten for ten series celebrating the venue's first decade in Tulsa. The tenth and final concert is Elton John next month.
On Friday, Metallica lead singer and guitarist James Hetfield visited Cain's Ballroom. He posted a photo of the visit on the band's Instagram account. Cain's says the band played there in 1985.
