Muskogee Man In Custody After Fatal Stabbing

The Muskogee Police Department says one man is dead and another is in jail following a robbery and stabbing in Muskogee.

Investigators say on Saturday afternoon they responded to a robbery and found Jimmy Thompson with an apparent stab wound. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital where he died.

Officers say witnesses identified 54-year-old Allen Syfrett as the man responsible. Police say they arrested Syfrett at another home a few hours later.
