A Tulsa neighborhood is without water after a driver hit a hydrant and drove off.

Tulsa police say a woman heard the crash around two this morning near Pine and MLK. Utility workers say the impact damaged a six-inch pipe and sent water spewing everywhere. They won't be able to get a repair crew out until later this morning so they had to shut off the water for the whole neighborhood.

Officers hope they can match parts left behind at the scene to the vehicle which hit the hydrant.
