University of Oklahoma football's newest defensive leader was introduced on Sunday.

Alex Grinch talked with the media about what he anticipates coming in.

"Really the expectation is that there is a high standard at Oklahoma football. Thrilled to be here and understand the importance of Oklahoma football to this state." said Alex Grinch.

Alex Grinch says the biggest focus of fixing the defense is the approach to turnovers.

The Sooners had 11 total take-aways in the entire 2018 season.

We will get a preview of Grinch's new defensive design during OU's spring game April 13th.
