One man is dead after an overnight crash near Henryetta.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Interstate 40 at about 1:50 a.m.

Troopers say Tom Nunn, 38, was heading west when his 2017 Nissan Sentra ran off the right side of the highway and hit a tree.

According to the OHP report on the crash, Nunn was not wearing a seat belt.

Troopers say they're still investigating why the crash happened.
