BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma - The Broken Arrow Fire Department said a fatal fire at 518 West Elgin was likely caused by a floor furnace.

The Department says they first started getting calls around 11:45 Monday morning from people driving by who saw smoke. When firefighters got here they say they pulled an adult and then two children out of the home.

We now know a 29-year-old man and his two daughters ages 1 and 3 are dead. The mother was not home at the time, a relative believes everyone was sleeping when the fire broke out.

"She's just real hurt," said Reta July, the aunt of the mother. "We just left the hospital where we seen the baby, she's just in shock."

July said they are now asking for prayers and are looking for a place to stay.

July thinks the fire started from a floor heater, but investigators say they are not a hundred percent sure that's what caused it.

This is a developing story...
