Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Green Country! We’re in for more picture perfect weather on this holiday Sunday.

Much like Saturday, temperatures will climb quickly today thanks to ample sunshine. We’ll see highs in the mid-60s to a few upper 60s for our St. Paddy’s Day, and once again those winds will remain very light all day. Cheers to a spectacular forecast! Be safe and responsible as you get out and enjoy today’s “lucky” weather!

Our stretch of seasonably mild conditions will continue into this Spring Break week across Green Country. A lingering weak front will lead to more of an easterly breeze on Monday and more of a mix of clouds and sun. Despite that, temperatures again look terrific with highs in the low 60s across northeast Oklahoma and the mid to upper 60s across southeast Oklahoma. Clouds will steadily increase on Tuesday, but once again we’ll stay mild with highs in the mid-60s.

Another cold front will bring a chance for a few showers from late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, primarily across northeast Oklahoma. This rain looks primarily light, but it does look like Wednesday will get off to a damp start. Wednesday looks to be the coolest day of Spring Break week as behind that front we’ll trim temperatures into the upper 50s for highs.

Temperatures will steadily climb back into the 60s on Thursday and perhaps Friday as well, keeping seasonable weather around to end the week! The weather pattern looks to turn more active by next weekend though with rain possible later in the day Friday, and an increasing chance of rain and storms next weekend.
