LandZero Sets Focus on Quality Cheap Land for Sale
The company LandZero was formed by corporate professionals in the service industry. In the last 10 years they were occasionally purchasing land as an investment. But it was only one or two lots for an investment with low cost of maintenance. The issues they found later on were quite disappointing. The land deeds they received had issues and the land was down right junk. So, they set out to offer the average investor the opportunity to get land the best way possible.
It seems to be quite the change from the traditional way. "Well, we created the site because of what we saw wrong with the process other sites use. They had land deeds with potential issues, required huge down payments, high interest rates and the lots seemed to be in pretty bad areas," said Steven Jablonski, a managing member of LandZero.
But what is really interesting is the way they changed this to make it different. They don't ask for a down payment, you just start by paying your first month. So you are already paying off the land and didn't dish out 2 or 3 work paychecks. They offered 20% off to those who buy in full, a great perk to flat out own the land right away. The rates are low for financing the land, even as low as 1%. This is good because sometimes you can end up paying double the cost of the land over time. Also they avoid tax sales, these can use quit claim deeds and give the buyer a potential major headache. Their deeds offer great protection and range from Warranty Deeds, Special Warranty and Grant Deeds. Something you don't see on a lot of other land selling sites. Also the land is surprisingly good for the low cost. "We actually have a smaller collection of land, but we offer walk to lake lots in really nice areas. We also have more rural land but we choose ones that have great nearby locations. Each land we hold we don't mind holding at all because we think it will go up in value. We wanted customers to get that same feeling we have. The goal was to offer cheap land for sale but make it exciting to have."
This team has actually been in land for a while, but the idea for LandZero came out around 2017. They have already built a good customer base with satisfied customers and five star reviews. As I learn more about owning land and searching online for it. I can see why this is a great place to come and purchase land. I too asked questions from other land sellers and sure enough, it did not have the same appeal. So for those of us who don't have $500k for a home, especially buying this high in a market peak. Land just really makes sense, especially for under $10k. To be able to get land right next to a lake for that is pretty wild, and the future looks to be quire bright with that investment.
