Muskogee County Now Supports Texting For 9-1-1 Emergencies

If you live in Muskogee County you can now text 911 during an emergency.

Law enforcement says this service is best for those who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or have a speech disability. It can also be used in situations where a voice call could put the person in danger such as an abduction, domestic violence case or an active shooter situation.
