TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Police were led on a chase that ended near I-44.

The pursuit started near 6100 South Riverside when police tried to stop a truck pulling a trailer.

Police say the chase reached speeds of 75 miles-per-hour before the tires on the trailer blew out.

“He spun out two or three times, there were sparks flying up, and you could barely see the truck," said officer Corey Buresh. "I'd say it was pretty dangerous."

Police say the suspect ran because he had just woke up and were scared.

They were able to arrest the person without further incident.
