Permit Now Required To Burn Within Bixby City Limits

The City of Bixby says it will now require permits to burn within the city limits.

Those permits are free and will help the city to make sure people are being safe when burning. The city says you don't need a permit for a small fire like a campfire or fire pit as long as it is 25 feet from a building.

You will need a permit for large bonfires and open burns. The permits are available at both of Bixby's fire stations.
