Tax Relief Could Come For Tulsa County Flood, Tornado Victims

Some tax relief could be coming for Tulsa County residents who had their property damaged by flooding or tornadoes recently.

The Tulsa county assessor's office said those people could be eligible for tax relief, thanks to an Oklahoma statute.

That statute applies to personal and business properties and allows for a new assessment to be done that takes into account the damage.
