Garth Brooks Teaming Up With MLB To Combat Child Hunger
TULSA, Oklahoma - Oklahoma's own Garth Brooks is teaming up with Major League Baseball to fight childhood hunger.
Brooks' organization "Teammates for Kids" is going to work with the new Home Plate Project. All 30 MLB teams are committing $900,000 to fight childhood hunger.
The initiative is expected to reach at least 25,000 kids and provide more than 3.5 million meals.
