Sapulpa Public Schools Says Student Brought Pellet Gun To Class

Sapulpa Public Schools says a resource officer confiscated an empty Airsoft pistol after hearing rumors of a gun at school.

Sapulpa Public Schools sent a note to parents Wednesday, saying the a student brought a pellet gun to class.

The school says a rumor was going around that a student at the junior high school had brought a gun. The resource officer says confiscated the empty Airsoft pistol.

Sapulpa Schools says it believes there was no intended threat or any real danger to students.
