OHP Investigating Fatal Accident, Shuts Down Westbound I-244

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one person is dead after being hit by a vehicle.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one person is dead after being hit by a vehicle.

The accident happened on I-244 and US 169. The westbound lanes on I-244 were shut down while officials investigated the crash.

Officials said Aaron L. Palmer Jr.,59, of Tulsa died at the scene of the crash.

OHP said they are still looking for the vehicle responsible.
