J.C. Penney Holding National Hiring Day Event

J.C. Penney is getting ready for the busy Christmas shopping season by hiring hundreds of workers in Oklahoma.

The department store expects to bring on more than 500 Oklahomans for customer service and support positions -- like cashiers.

The National Hiring Day event will happen inside stores Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Managers will hold in-person interviews and make offers on the spot.
