Tulsa Water Line Break Causes Outage; Freezing Water On Road

City crews are working to repair a large water line break near 21st and Riverside.

Officials said water was cut off to one business and 50 residents around midnight Thursday.

Officials said the water break is on a 16-inch line.

A metal box was brought out to keep the dirt and mud away from the edges, so crews can keep digging to get to the 16-inch waterline.

Water was freezing over the street Thursday morning.

They've made some progress by noon but didn't have an estimated time for the repair to be finished and water to be restored.
