Tulsa Police said a man is in custody after leading them on a chase after officers learned he had a warrant out of Rogers County.

The chase started near Pine and Lewis when officers tried to stop Todd Jenkins. The chase ended near East Apache Street and North Peoria Avenue, according to police.

Officers said once Jenkins pulled over, they discovered he had a warrant out of Rogers County. Jenkins then got into his vehicle and ran from officers, according to police.

"Whenever you have a $100,000 warrant you think you're ready to get away. Luckily, we had officers on foot and in their vehicles ready to apprehend him," said Cpl. Matt Rose, Tulsa Police.

Police said Jenkins' warrant was $100,000.

Jenkins was taken to a hospital after the events occurred.
