National geographic is releasing what it calls the best pictures of 2019, which were chosen from more than 2 million pictures taken this year.

The photos include a variety of animals and subjects.

One photo is of 3 of 39 tigers that were rescued from an Oklahoma animal park and are shown gathering at a pool in a wild animal sanctuary in Colorado.
