A fire broke out at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa Thursday evening. No patients or employees were injured, according to Tulsa Fire Department.
TFD said there was a construction crew working on the roof of the hospital, and a small fire started in an air duct. The smoke from the fire traveled through the air ducts and affected several areas in the hospital.
Tulsa firefighters said the fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was hurt. Most parts of the hospital were able to continue operating, but fire crews said there were evacuations from labor and delivery and operating departments.
They asked drivers to avoid the area as they operated their equipment.
