Spirit AeroSystems announced they will be putting managers and hourly employees on a 21-day unpaid leave that starts on Wednesday.

Spirit AeroSystems announced they will be putting managers and hourly employees on a 21-day unpaid leave that starts on Wednesday.

The company said this will impact all the employee's in Tulsa and McAlester.

Spirit AeroSystems originally announced a suspension of work in Tulsa and McAlester starting March 25th, but it had said employee's would be paid during that time frame.

Starting Wednesday, the employees will not be paid.

Spirit AeroSystems said this is temporary to keep the workforce in place for future growth.
