While many are anticipating the opening of Tulsa's Gathering Place on Saturday, others are eager to see Riverside Drive reopening to traffic for the first time in three years.
At 6 a.m. on Monday, September 10th, Riverside Drive from about 24th Street to 41st Street will be reopened in both directions
Drivers may not recognize the remodeled Riverside Drive, thanks to Gathering Place's two tunnels, with hilly land bridges running over top of of each tunnel.

The city has installed 4 new crosswalks on Riverside Drive. They are located at 21st Street; John Williams Way, which is one of new park entrances; 31st Street and 33rd Place.
