A jury will decide December 13 whether the last living suspect in the 1999 murders of two Welch girls is competent to stand trial.

Ronnie Busick is charged with murdering Lauria Bible, Ashley Freeman, and Freeman's parents.

The girls' bodies have never been found. Busick is implicated in the crime along with two other men who have since died. If the jury finds Busick is competent, he'll be scheduled for a murder trial next year.
