Woman Risks Her Life, Rescue Koala From Fire In Australia

A woman, who said her name was Toni, was seen on video taking off her shirt and charging into the flames to save a koala. She doused the smoldering marsupial with water and took it to a sanctuary, where it's doing well. The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital even started a GoFundMe account to raise money for the animals' care. 

Oklahoma 2019 Holiday Ornament Announced 

Oklahomans will now be able to get their hands on the state's 2019 Holiday Ornament. This year's ornament is the Governor's Mansion inside of a snow globe. The ornament costs $15. For more information, click here

Update: Group Works To Raise Funds For Tulsa Race Massacre Memorial 

Organizers say they're applying for grants to get more funding for this project and they're also looking for donations for a Tulsa Race Massacre memorial on the grounds of Vernon AME Church near Greenwood and Archer.

The health department said you can get the flu vaccine on a walk-in basis Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Tulsa Health Department locations below:

John 3:16 Mission Food Drive

John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa is collecting items for the holiday season. Their goal is to collect 5,000 turkeys along with other food items. You can help by joining their food drive at area grocery stores.
