Lockdown Lifted On Tulsa Tech Lemley Campus

The Tulsa Lemley Campus was placed on lockdown the evening of Nov. 13 due to a robbery in the area.

According to Tulsa Police, the lockdown was a "precautionary" measure after a robbery occurred at the Embassy Suites located at 3332 S. 79th East Ave.

Officers said according to the clerk, a man entered the building and handed him a note that read he had a gun. Police said the clerk followed instructions by giving the man money from the register.

Tulsa Police described the suspect as a white male around the age of 35, five-foot seven-inches, unclean. Police said he was wearing a brown long-sleeve brown coat, blue shirt, and blue jeans.

Police have not yet named the suspect.
