Tulsa Police said a man has died after being assaulted with a hammer, and his attacker is now in custody.
Police said the original assault happened on Sunday, October 20.
Officers said the victim, Wayne Robertson, was taken to the hospital and died on Monday, October 28.
Police said Antyon Custard, 46, was arrested on a first-degree murder warrant.
Officers said Custard called 911 the night of the attack. He told police he and Robertson got into an argument while they were smoking marijuana. Police said Custard admitted he grabbed a hammer and beat Robertson.
When police arrived, they said Robertson was taped up with duct tape and in very bad shape.
