Turley Firefighters Knock Down Brush Fire Near Osage Trail

Turley firefighters responded to a fire near North Peoria and East 63rd Street North. Authorities said the fire was near an area where homeless people are living in tents.

Early reports indicated at least one tent was one fire; however, when firefighters arrived they found some brush burning. They quickly knocked the grass fire down.
