U.S. Supreme Court Denies Oklahoma Death Row Inmate's Appeal

An Oklahoma death row prisoner has lost his final appeal.

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected taking up Kendrick Simpson's case after it was denied by both state and federal courts.

A jury sentenced Simpson to death for shooting and killing two men outside an Oklahoma City nightclub in 2006. The state has not put anyone to death since 2015 after several executions didn't go as planned.
