Did you know that Oklahoma is one of seven states with the highest rate of new HIV cases in the U.S.? Cherokee Nation is helping Oklahoma End the HIV Epidemic. Knowing your status is a critical step in protecting yourself and protecting Indian Country.
The only way that you can ever know for sure if you have HIV is to get tested and the Cherokee Nation is making it even easier for you to know your status.
The Cherokee Nation provides HIV testing for every Native American at all Cherokee Nation Health Centers and Hospital. For non-natives, HIV testing is offered at your local health department.
If you have a primary care provider, make an appointment with him or her and request an HIV test. If you do not have a primary care provider, just call 1-844-PREP-STI for more information. Be sure of your status. Get tested today.
