Oklahoma Highway Patrol is on the scene of a dangerous accident involving a semi-truck.
A truck has crashed and fallen off the I-40 overpass and is hanging over Highway 75 near Henryetta. Northbound traffic has been shut down at this time. Troopers said that distracted driving could have been the cause.
Troopers said a driver came onto the highway from the ramp, without yielding and hit the semi. OHP said the driver of the semi, lost control and went over the bridge. They said a third driver was hit with debris when the semi came through the railing. The forklift the semi was carrying flew off onto the side of the road.
First responders said it was a miracle that no one was seriously hurt in the wreck.
Responders were on scene for nearly 9 hours. Lanes have since been re-opened by authorities.
