Police Investigating Fatal Shooting, Tulsa's 47th Homicide

Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting that took place in southeast Tulsa.

According to police, the shooting took place near 91st Street 89th E Ave. According to police, Luis Simich went to his estranged wife's home with the intent to harm her new boyfriend. Police say the Simich rammed into the other man's car and then aggressively approached him. At which point the man shot Simich in the chest. Simich was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Police haven't named the other man was taken in for questioning and has been released pending further investigation.
