Public Service of Oklahoma said an outage in west Tulsa Wednesday morning was caused by copper thieves. Thieves damaged substation equipment over the weekend, causing damage, PSO announced.
"We have 4,807 customers back on and are actively working to restore power to the remaining 52 customers," the utility company tweeted.
