Authorities Identify Couple In Okmulgee County Murder-Suicide

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder-suicide in Okmulgee County Sunday.

According to the report, authorities responded to the 2300 block of North 186 Road near Mounds and found two people dead inside of a home.

Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office identified them as Jeanna and Emmett Bailey. Deputies said Emmett Bailey, 49, shot his wife inside the home then killed himself. Jeanna Bailey was 45.

OCSO said the motive for the shooting is unknown, and the incident remains under investigation.
