Tulsa firefighters worked to put out an apartment fire near 81st and Yale Monday morning.
Crews responded to the County Hollow apartment around 10:30 a.m. Firefighters say the fire may have started on the balcony of one of the units. They weren't sure if anyone was home when the fire broke out.
TFD says there is significant damage to two units, but they aren't sure yet how many residents will be affected.
Crews had to go into the attic to get the fire out. They had to break holes into the ceiling to keep the fire from spreading.
They say no one was injured.
TFD said the fire started for smoking materials that weren't extinguished properly.
