City Of Tulsa Unveils New Name For 61st And Peoria

The City of Tulsa will be unveiling a new name for the area around 61st and Peoria on Saturday.

It comes after nearly a year and a half of working to rebrand the neighborhood. It will become known as "Hope Valley." Students at nearby Marshall Elementary chose the name from six options.

The name change and neighborhood signs will be revealed during a block party on Saturday from 11 to 1 with free food and live music.
